In favour of increased support for spcial court and other international courts

Strasbourg, 24/04/2009 (Agence Europe) - In its adoption by 381 votes in favour, 4 against and 7 abstentions, of a joint resolution presented by six political groups (EPP- ED, PES, ALDE, UEN, Greens/EFA, GUE/NGL), on Friday 24 April, the European Parliament welcomed progress made by the International Courts in bringing those responsible for various atrocities to justice.
