Attempt, but little hope, to re-launch activity - Henri Guaino slams “narrow minds” that do not accept parity

Brussels/Nice, 20/04/2009 (Agence Europe) - It would seem that the activity of the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) will be rekindled at the end of April after long months of standoff. Henri Guaino, who is adviser to the Elysée and responsible for the UfM under French co-presidency, told EUROPE on the sidelines of the meeting of the Euro-Mediterranean economic and social committees on 6 and 7 April in Nice (see EUROPE 9880) that a ministerial meeting was being prepared, no doubt during May...
