18/03/2009 (Agence Europe) - On Monday 16 March, the EP civil liberties committee adopted by 28 votes to 6 and one abstention the codecision report by Sarah Ludford (ALDE, UK) concerning a second reading agreement negotiated between the rapporteur and the Council of Ministers for introducing biometric data in the Visa Information System (VIS).
