Greece to receive additional cash advance of €408 million in 2009, Hübner announces

Brussels, 25/02/2009 (Agence Europe) - Regional Policy Commissioner Danuta Hübner, is currently visiting Greece. She met Prime Minister Kostas Karamanlis and members of the government in Athens on Wednesday 25 February, when she announced that Greece would receive an additional cash advance of €408 million in 2009, on top of the € 1.1 billion it had already received in front-loaded payments since 2007.
