EP calls for real application of rights for all EU citizens

Brussels, 18/12/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday 17 December, MEPs called on member states to take action against the many fundamental rights violations in the European Union. The European Parliament was called upon to discuss the report by Giusto Catania (GUE/NGL, Italy) on the situation of fundamental rights in the EU during the period 2004-2007.
