Brussels, 19/11/2008 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament adopted its position on the common agricultural policy (CAP) health check in Strasbourg on Wednesday 19 November. It recommends a limited reduction in aid to farmers, a cautious increase in milk quotas, retention of a number of market management and intervention tools, and maintenance of the link between subsidies and production in sensitive sectors.
