14/11/2008 (Agence Europe) - German Bundestag parliamentarians approved an update of the “Volkswagen Law” on Thursday 13 November 2008, whereby holders of at least 20% of the capital of Volkswagen can veto certain important decisions (see EUROPE 9583). A spokesperson said the Commission would carefully analyse the measures. The Lower Saxony region holds 20.1% of VW's shares. (C.D./transl.fl)
