Javier Solana welcomes ceasefire agreement and possibility for government of national unity

Brussels, 29/10/2008 (Agence Europe) - Javier Solana, the high representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP) welcomed the agreement concluded on 27 October, in Djibouti, by the Transitional Federal Government of Somalia (TFG) and the Alliance for the Re-liberation of Somalia (ARS) on the modalities for the implementation of a ceasefire planned for 5 November 2008, and their intention to set up a Somali Unity Government soon.
