Danuta Hübner attends Conference of Presidents of Extremely Remote Regions in Guyana

Brussels, 29/10/2008 (Agence Europe) - Danuta Hübner, the commissioner for regional policy, took part in the Conference of the Presidents of the Extremely Remote Regions (RUP) in French Guyana from 27-29 October. Under the chairmanship of Mr Antoine Karam, the president of the Regional Council of Guyana, this event took place a few days after the adoption of a communication of the Commission marking a change in the approach of the EU towards the extremely remote regions.
