Luxembourg, 27/10/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Monday 27 October 2008 in Luxembourg, EU fisheries ministers agreed in principle on fishing quotas for the Black Sea for 2009. The regulation covers the two EU member states that border on the Black Sea (Bulgaria and Romania) and foresees cooperation with other Black Sea states, like Turkey. The regulation still needs to be formally endorsed without debate by the EU Council of Ministers.
