23/10/2008 (Agence Europe) - On 22 October 2008, the Commission granted clearance to the acquisition of joint control of Dutch steel-maker Metinvest BV and its subsidiaries Makeeva Metallurgical Plant (Ukraine) and Promet Steel JSC (Bulgaria) by System Capital Management Limited of Cyprus and Energees Investments Limited, of Cyprus. The Commission also gave the go-ahead to a separate deal - the creation of a joint venture by two petrochemical companies, Thailand's PTT Chemical Public Company...
