16/10/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday 16 October 2008, the European Commission announced that it has decided to send Portugal and France to the European Court of Justice and to send Spain and Luxembourg a “reasoned opinion” for failure to refund medical care received in a different member state from the one where one resides. A draft directive on cross-border medical care is currently being examined by the European Parliament and Council of the EU. (O.J./transl.fl)
