29/09/2008 (Agence Europe) - At the European Parliament's plenary session on Tuesday 23 September in Brussels, MEPs adopted in a first reading (codecision) the report of Miroslav Ouzky (EPP-ED, Czech Republic) on the European Parliament and Council's draft proposal for amending Council Regulation (EC) 338/97) on the protection of wild fauna and flora through trade inspections and the Commission's control remit (adaptation to regulation with control).
