Javier Solana tries to bolster peace moves during his visit to Middle East

Brussels, 12/09/2008 (Agence Europe) - EU High Representative for the CFSP, Javier Solana, started a three-day visit to the Middle East on Friday 12 September 2008 to back the Israeli-Palestinian peace process. On Friday, he met Israeli Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni in Israel and President of the Palestinian Authority Mahmoud Abbas, Prime Minister Salam Fayyad and Chief Negotiator Saeb Erekat in the Palestinian Territories
