Shipwrecked ferry in the Philippines was carrying toxic chemicals - Joint EU-UN report recommends removing poisons before salvage operations begin

Brussels, 04/08/2008 (Agence Europe) - EU and United Nations toxicology experts (UNEP/OCHA) have published their report into the potential environmental consequences of the sinking of the 'Princess of the Stars' ferry on 21 June 2008 in the centre of the Philippines.
