24/07/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday 22 July, the European Commission granted clearance to the acquisition of sole control of Freightliner Group Limited (Freightliner) of the UK by Arcapita Bank B.S.C. (Arcapita) of Bahrain. The latter is active in more than twenty countries, whereas Freightliner handles rail freight haulage in the UK, Poland and Germany.
