23/07/2008 (Agence Europe) - The Irish government intends to "clarify" the country's position regarding the Lisbon Treaty "by the end of this year", most likely at the European Council of 11/12 December, the Irish Foreign Minister, Michael Martin, has announced. On the sidelines of the External Relations Council (22 July), he declined to comment on speculation about a second Irish referendum. (H.B./trans.fl)
