Brussels, 10/07/2008 (Agence Europe) - The main challenge facing small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) remains access to funding. That, in substance, was the message delivered by European Commissioner for Regional Policy Danuta Hübner in a speech, in Brussels on Wednesday 9 July, presenting the opportunities for SMEs. She said that cohesion policy was making over €27 billion available to create and develop such businesses over the 2007-2013 programming cycle.
