Brussels, 10/07/2008 (Agence Europe) - In Strasbourg on 9 July, the European Parliament adopted the own initiative report by Jerzy Buzek (EPP-ED, Poland) by an overwhelming majority, thereby giving its backing to the European Strategic Energy Technology (SET) Plan, proposed by the European Commission at the end of 2007 (see EUROPE 9549), but it called for appropriate funding support.
