Group of European regulators recommends further regulatory action on roaming

Brussels, 05/06/2008 (Agence Europe) - In conclusions reached after the plenary session in Vilnius on 29-30 May this year, the European Regulators Group (ERG) recommended that the European Commission should extend its regulation on voice roaming. Preliminary data for the period of October 2007 to March 2008 shows that the European regulation on voice calls, which took effect last summer, has successfully capped voice roaming charges, although prices are stagnating just below the cap,...
