29/05/2008 (Agence Europe) - The president of the European Parliament, Hans-Gert Pöttering, will make an official visit to Portugal on 30-31 May. On Friday he will meet Anibal Cavaco Silva, the president of Portugal, as well as José Socrates, the prime minister. He will also visit the Assembly of the Republic, where he will be greeted by its president, José Matos da Gama, as well as the vice presidents of the Portuguese parliament.
