Babacan tells European and Turkish politicians that without accession, Ankara will find it hard to maintain reform impetus

Brussels, 29/05/2008 (Agence Europe) - The mixed EU-Turkey parliamentary committee of Turkish MPs and MEPs met on 27-28 May in Brussels. Participants included the Turkish minister for foreign affairs, Ali Babacan (who is also the negotiator-in-chief for accession talks) and Commissioner Olli Rehn (enlargement).
