21/04/2008 (Agence Europe) - A European Parliament delegation, led by Doris Pack (EPP-ED, Germany) has visited Kosovo over the last few days. Among those MEPs met were President Fatmir Sejdiu, Prime Minister Hasim Thaçi, Speaker of the National Assembly Jakup Krasniqi and head of UNMIK Joaquim Rücker. MEPs backed the UNMIK position that plans by Belgrade to hold local elections in the north of Kosovo (where the majority of the population is Serbian) on 11 May is “totally unacceptable”....
