26/02/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday 26 February, the European Parliament's committee on agriculture took a stance in favour of a 2% rise in milk production quotas as of 1 April 2008. It therefore supports the initial proposal except for one difference: - the parliamentary committee foresees an optional rise for the countries that so request.
