08/02/2008 (Agence Europe) - The Committee of Permanent Representatives (COREPER) announced on Wednesday 6 February that the mandates of some EU special representatives (EUSR) had been extended by a year. Kalman Mitsei, EUSR for Moldova, Pierre Morel, EUSR for Central Asia, Torben Brylle EUSR for Sudan, and Roeland van de Geer, EUSR for the Great Lakes Region, will remain in post until 29 February 2009.
