01/02/2008 (Agence Europe) - Three EU leaders will be visiting Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia from 4-6 February, namely EU External Affairs Commissioner Benita Ferrero-Waldner, Slovenian Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel and EU Special Representative for the region, Peter Semneby. The commissioner officially opened a European Commission Delegation (office) in Armenia and another in Azerbaijan. The 'troika' of EU leaders will discuss the implementation of action plans signed with the three countries in November as part of the EU's Neighbourhood Policy. (A.B.)
