01/02/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday 30 January, the Council approved all the amendments made by the European Parliament in second reading to the draft regulation on civil aviation rules and establishing the European Air Safety Agency (EASA). EASA will be responsible for certifying airlines' operational requirements in order to grant pilots' licences and certification for airlines from outside the EU operating in the EU (see Europe 9563).
