Brussels, 04/01/2008 (Agence Europe) - According to the European Data Protection Supervisor (EDPS), Peter Hustinx, additional legislative measures are needed to regulate the use of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) chips in consumer products and other new applications affecting private individuals.
