Brussels, 12/12/2007 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday 12 December the European Commission proposed a 2 percent increase in milk quotas (total of 2.84 million tonnes) beginning on 1 April 2008, the date when the new trade campaign begins. This increase will be shared equally between the EU27 member states and will not affect the results of the common agricultural policy (CAP) bill of health.
