Sofia wants more financial compensation for closure of Kozloduy nuclear power station

Brussels, 16/11/2007 (Agence Europe) - On the sidelines of the World Energy Forum in Rome, the Bulgarian Minister for the Economy, Peter Dimitrov, informed the European Energy Commissioner, Andris Piebalgs, on Tuesday 13 November, that Sofia is to call for an extension of the period during which it receives Community financial compensation for the closure of the Kozloduy nuclear power station, and for an increase in the funds.
