10/10/2007 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday 9 October, the Council of Ministers of the EU adopted a decision authorising the signature of an agreement with the Republic of Moldova on the facilitation of visas for short trips. The European Parliament has yet to be consulted. A joint visa issuing centre opened in April 2007 in the Hungarian embassy in Chisinau (EUROPE 9415). (bc)
