28/09/2007 (Agence Europe) - With the support of the European Commission's 'Intelligent Energy for Europe' programme, the European Forum for Renewable Energy Sources (EUFORES) is organising the 7th inter-parliamentary meeting on renewable energy in Berlin on 5 October. The debates will be facilitated by Mechtild Rothe MEP (PES, Germany), who is vice president of European Parliament and the president of EUFORES; Claude Turmes MEP (Greens, Luxembourg); Matthias Machnig, German Environment Minister; Hermann Scheer, Member of the Bundestag in Germany; and Hans van Steen, Head of Unit at DG Energy at the European Commission.
