Commission approves five acquisitions

Brussels, 14/09/2007 (Agence Europe) - On Friday 14 September, the European Commission announced that it had approved five proposed concentrations, all examined under the simplified merger review procedure. The first was the acquisition of joint control of Emirates Aluminium Company Limited, of the United Arab Emirates, which owns and operates aluminium plants in Abu Dhabi, by Dubai Aluminium Company Limited which produces and sells primary aluminium products, and Mubadala Development...
