Brussels, 05/09/2007 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has allocated €1 million to provide assistance to the victims of the floods in Colombia, resulting from a rainy season that struck the country a cruel blow this year.
The assistance will be channelled through the Commission's Humanitarian Aid service (ECHO) and will be provided in the form of food aid, agricultural inputs, access to safe water and sanitation, emergency shelter, basic healthcare and child protection. The target...
