31/07/2007 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday, the diplomat, Alexandre Botsan-Khartchenko, was appointed as Russia's representative in the troika (European Union, United States, Russia) formed to oversee forthcoming negotiations between Belgrade and Pristina on the future status of Kosovo. He will join Wolfgang Ischinger (EU) and Frank Wisner (USA) (see EUROPE 9479). (hb)
