31/07/2007 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has launched a competition open to all young people, to raise awareness among young Europeans of what the EU does to combat discrimination. The competition, “The European Union and Non-discrimination”, is open to young people aged between 12 and 18. Those taking part will have to design a poster illustrating the idea of non-discrimination in the European Union. The best entries will be displayed on the websites of the Commission's representations in member states and on the Europa server. The winners will be invited to Brussels from 15 to 17 December for a tour of the city and the European institutions.
