Commission calls on Court to ask Polish authorities not to resume construction work on motorway in Rospuda Valley on 1 August

Brussels, 30/07/2007 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission had warned that if the Polish authorities resumed construction work on two bypass roads for the cities of Augustov and Wasilkow in the Rospuda Valley (north-east Poland), it would not hesitate to bring the matter before the Court of Justice to have a continuation of the project halted (EUROPE 9471).
