11/07/2007 (Agence Europe) - In a press release dated 10 July 2007, the European ombudsman, Nikiforos Diamandoros, welcomes the settlement of a dispute between a German university and the European Commission. Further to the ombudsman's intervention, the Commission agreed to reimburse the university the sum of €5,400 (plus €44 for costs) in the context of financing granted to the Erasmus programme.
