22/06/2007 (Agence Europe) - In the conclusions to be approved after their summit, the heads of state and government assert that they expect from the Commission: (1) a communication on flexicurity (to be adopted next Wednesday 27 June by the College); (2) the presentation of an amended proposal for a directive on minimum provisions for worker mobility, fostering the acquisition and the keeping of complementary pension rights; and (3) the report on assessment of the social reality, to be presented in early 2008. The European Council also invites: a) member states to rapidly implement the Community strategy for 2007-2012 for health and safety at work, adopted last February; and b) member states, the Commission and social partners to use to best advantage the European Family Alliance, initiated by the German minister, Ursula von der Leyen, during the Social Council on 22 February.
