ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) energy

Russian oil company Rosneft has won the bidding war for a €5 bn stake in Yukos. The deal will allow public company Rosneft to become Russia's biggest oil producing company, ahead of Lukoil, producing around 1.9 million barrels a day, nearly 25% of Russian oil production.
