26/04/2007 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has granted clearance to the acquisition of sole control of Converium Holding AG (Converium) of Switzerland by SCOR S.A. of France. SCOR and Converium are both reinsurance companies. The operation was examined under the simplified merger review procedure. (cd)
