26/04/2007 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday 25 April, the Commission approved the acquisition of joint control of S-Oil Corporation of South Korea by Hanjin Energy Co. Ltd of South Korea, controlled by Korean Airlines Co. Ltd and belonging to the HANJIN Group, and Aramco Overseas Company B.V., controlled by Saudi Aramco of Saudi Arabia. The operation was examined under the simplified merger review procedure. (cd)
