26/04/2007 (Agence Europe) - On 24 April, the European Commission decided to authorise a state aid scheme promoting innovation in maritime transport in the Netherlands. Under the scheme, which is to run for four years, Dutch authorities will subsidise a number of innovative projects proposed by maritime transport companies to respond to the challenges of the new maritime and environmental safety requirements.
