26/04/2007 (Agence Europe) - In Chisinau, the capital of Moldova, on 25 April, the vice president of the European Commission, Franco Frattini, opened an 'open centre' issuing visas for six EU member states from the Hungarian Embassy. This prototype of an EU Consulate issues visas for Hungary, Slovenia, Austria, Estonia, Latvia and Denmark (see Europe 9396).
