Baroness Ludford calls on Council and Commission to respond to Mr Bellinger comments

Brussels, 02/03/2007 (Agence Europe) - On Friday, Baroness Sarah Ludford (ALDE, UK) expressed her stupefaction at the comments of Legal Advisor to the US Secretary of State John Bellinger. On Wednesday, Mr Bellinger said that current investigations into CIA activities undermined cooperation between US and European intelligence services, and that the US had no intention of extraditing the 26 CIA agents charged by Italy, and for whom a European arrest warrant has been issued (see EUROPE 9376)....
