14/02/2007 (Agence Europe) - Following the debate on 31 January (see EUROPE 9357), on Wednesday the European Parliament adopted a joint resolution on SWIFT and the PNR agreement on the transfer of personal data on air passengers, calling for a legally binding agreement to be concluded with the United States on the two issues in order to ensure the protection of European citizens' privacy and personal information.
