Commission green light to Advent and Carlyle's acquisition of H. C. Starck

Brussels, 25/01/2007 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday 24 January, the European Commission granted clearance to the acquisition of joint control of the H.C. Starck group of companies (Germany) by Advent International Corporation (Advent) of the US and Carlyle Europe Partners II, L.P., part of the Carlyle Group (Carlyle), also of the US.
