05/01/2007 (Agence Europe) - In December 2006 the economic confidence indicator for business leaders and consumers remained stable overall in both the Euro zone and EU25, where it only registered a slight fall of 0.2 points (110.1 points and 112.9 points respectively). The business affairs indicator in the Euro zone increased in December to reach its highest ever level. Business expectations for the next few months are, however, less hopeful than they were last month. (ab)
