20/12/2006 (Agence Europe) - In cooperation with the Department for the Civil Service, Formez and the Università degli Studi Roma Tre held a colloquium in Rome on 19 December on the “European Co-administration Project - Fifty Years of Italy in Europe - History of Two Models” as part of a debate on enhancing Italy's presence in Europe. The session was opened by Francesco Tufarelli of the Università degli Studi, Carlo Flamment, President of Formez, and Luigi Nicolais, minister for the reform in public administration. Among those taking part were the minister for European policies Emma Bonino, Italian MPs Valdo Spini and Rocco Buttiglione, heads of the European Commission and European Parliament representations in Rome, Pier Virgilio Dastoli (who spoke about the Federalist model and the Community model: complements or alternatives) and Paolo Meucci, the President of the European College of Parma Foundation Cesare Azzali and Cristiano Zagari of the Università degli Studi Roma Tre.
