03/11/2006 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has approved the proposal by HSBC Property Investments Luxemburg and Lamda Development SA of Greece to acquire joint control of an Athens shopping centre, “The Mall”, which is currently owned by Lamda Olympia Village SA. The transaction, which will see HSBC purchase half the shares in “The Mall” from Lamda for approximately €135 million, was examined under the simplified procedure. (ab)
